Saw the post saying he wasn’t sure if he’d be on the pitch, dunno if it was health related.

Joe is the same age as my Dad so not far off 80. Not too many are able to jog round the block at that age especially given how he played.

Have to say generally what a wonderful occasion today has been to watch from a distance. Pretty much the perfect send off when you imagined what it should be in August.

Credit to everyone and all the fans there and outside given how toxic the last four years have been with decisions and performances.

Feels like the club is now over the worst of it so expecting some brighter seasons at BMD and some real momentum built on the pitch now.
