Last nights penalties were generally well taken. Naismiths was poor, Joel was unlucky and Stones got lucky with his but other than that they all slotted them away nicely.

Didnt fancy Lukaku with his but his was best of the lot.

I kinda chuckled a bit when Jagielka went to take his penalty, the commentator says 'now comes the time when the players who have never taken a penalty are up'. Umm.....yeah, Jags was the penalty taker for Sheffield United ffs!

We did win the first ever penalty shoot out in football history Vs Munchen Gladbach... I was there... Electric

Mind you we should've seen the game off prior
but we were having one of those after the lord mayors show seasons like this one
nothing ever changes but it remains the same ( some french dude )

i laughed too because he scored the winning penalty to take us to an FA Cup final - quality knowledge on show ha

They did mate,not on pens though,they battered us 4-1,the dome was experimenting that night with three centre backs in a new formation,Atteveld was one of them,enough said

Wins i know of/remember. Monchengladbach, Bristol City 2005, Newcastle 2003, United 2009. Chelsea.

I was there that night -Andy Rankin reserve keeper was the hero - I was in the park end and most blues fans thought when Joe Royle missed the first pen , and they scored that we werE knocked out then we heard it was the best of 5 - it was that new to the game!
