Until I've actually seen Mina play I'll hold of putting him down as one of our best centre half pairing.

Zouma deffo as one of them though.

A settled back line is a must, we will probably use 10 players in our back line this season, whatever happens we need our back line bedded in next season.

Thing is, I've got these things in my head called eyes. Which have shown Keane get beaten for pace by plenty of players he's faced. So please excuse me if I use these rather than your "independent research"

Though we've yet to see him play Mina was obviously brought in as a first choice CB. I feel as though he and Zouma should get the nod when everyone is fit. They seem like they would be the most dominant and athletic from what we have right now - though neither have reached their peak. If he impresses' I don't think a permanent transfer for Zouma would be to difficult to complete.

If all fit, and you had to give 2 a run for the next 10 games...

I'd be inclined to go Mina and Keane. (Think we're desperate to build some continuity/understanding across the defence and with Zouma being on loan with no option to buy)

My preference would be Mina and Keane. I'd like to see them given the chance as our two marquee defensive signings and be told 'go out and make those spots yours'.

I think there is a player in Michael Keane, he just looks like he lost confidence. Silva & Brands signings have all been good so far, so I've got nothing to suggest Mina is going to be garbage.

Keane has been much better I think this season. Him and Mina for me with Zouma and Holgate as back up. Million times better than last season .

The way we play with our fullbacks pushed up high, would it not be worth a try to have Holgate, Mina and Zooma as a three ? Especially at against the likes of Arsenal.

He's a bit quicker than most CBs. That's about all I've got.

Odd thread. We're debating a player as being one of our best centre halves, who hasn't played for an English club yet, let alone made his Everton debut.
