evertons away form shortcomings

Did we even have these big away wins during the 80’s when we dominated?? I can’t remember that many,

It’s irrelevant anyway, the result that matters. Battering Brighton 5-1 and beating Newcastle 1-0 is the same; 3 points at the end of the day.
5-1 at Sheffield weds in 85/86, 4-0 at Newcastle 86/87 and Southampton 87 when Sharpie scored 4, just to name some.

After the RS won a second successive away game by 4 goals today it got me wandering when the last time we really gave a team a spanking away from home.
To my amazement you have to go back 18 seasons to 99/2000 to find the last time we won by 4 goals on our travels (4-0 at West Ham). Remarkable really given you play 19 aways a season, 19x18 anybody ?
Laws of averages clearly don't apply where Everton are concerned.
I was at that game. Barmby got 3 or maybe all 4 he was outstanding that day

But that's one team having a great result who are currently in the championship and whose away form without checking is probably utterly crap.

Would it be nice? Yeah sure it would but there is a reason why it doesn't happen and that's because against the top sides they pin us back and have a good go and we haven't got a side capable of webbing them and then the crap clubs know we are better than them so they sit back and even though we can win 1/2/3 we aren't good enough to turn anyone over by 5.

We are the team too good for about 10 sides in this league but not good enough for about 6 sides to give them a beating.

Until we won at Newcastle, they were the only other team in the top 4 divisions to have only won 1 away game in 2017.

I couldnt care less how many we win goal wise away,as long as we win,and if its a 1 goal lead or 3/4 goal lead,i dont trust Everton till its over, they never stop giving you heart attacks

We’ve always struggled away from home for as long as I can remember.

We’ve got a small club mentality, hence why we feel we need to defend a one goal lead with our lives.

It’s why we never win away at the big club’s grounds. We’ve came close a few times at Chelsea and Arsenal, but always drop back and ultimately allow them to bombard us with shots until one eventually goes in.

Dear me,don't resort to the paranoia theory just because I analyse our poor away form. Can't stand them but they don't fear going anywhere unlike us.
I’d be more worried about dropping points at home to WBA and horse face embarrassing himself and the club in post match interviews ( hands up who thought it was a penalty , oh everybody I see , so I’m wrong )
The man is a poor loser and an embarrassment to the game
