Goalkeeper very poor too...hasnt made a save and his kicking is very poor.

tbf he made a decent stop to make sure it wasn't 5-0 right on half time!

I thought he was extremely raw when we first got him but he's getting better. Rare for Everton U21's to have a central defender who isn't 8 stone wet through as well.

Metcalfe has been excellent tbf

….as you know, I mentioned him pre-season. Got that Lescott upper body strength and he can shift for a big lad, interesting he’s skipper but lots of ‘captains’ at that level stay at that level.

I like metcalfe and think he'll have a good career but he's not even making our bench at the minute if we kept him
