Don't see why I didn't even get a reply.

Even outlined my plan for investigating what 20 odd million quid a year "other expenses" goes on.

I won't criticize the lads at Everton, they are really getting to grips with an entire new market for digital media, but they are so far behind in terms of leading by example it's frightening.
My issue is they still seem to be getting to grips with the English language ... which is not that new at this point. See above for two typos in the job posting. I do agree they need to hire someone to oversee digital because it's a bit of a mess as it stands.

You reckon, I would of thought that would be an advantage?

I don't know anything about how EFC in particular views things so maybe get some other opinions but for some reason a lot of entertainment/sports companies in general don't like hiring big fans. A lot of them don't even like their own fans (some of them hate them). Again, whomever is hiring at EFC for this position might think differently but percentage-wise I'd say they're more likely to not want to hire a big fan. Also there is a professionalism aspect where you are presenting your qualifications as making you deserving of the job on their own rather than trying to use fandom as leverage to improve your CV. Get some second opinions though -- someone here must know someone who works at the club. I probably wouldn't go so far as to lie in an interview stage if asked directly (although I might downplay it).

I'd go for it, but it's like throwing a banana up an alley. The job is already filled (y)

I heard this lad got it.
