Everton whipping boys

[Muggins]

Over the years certain player have become whipping boys for some of our fans.
I can remember Reidy and Ratcliffe getting it off our fans during their latter years.

More recently the likes of Osman and Hibbert joined that elusive club.
Now we have Barkley,Lukaku,Jagielka,Cleverley,Coleman,Oviedo,Kone etc....in fact most of the squad.
Even Bolasie has been getting some stick of late.

The treatment that Cleverley received yesterday after his substitution was a disgrace.
No matter who puts on that shirt they don`t deserve that type of treatment.

GP lately has become very toxic of late to the point where you can see our own players don`t enjoy playing there.

All very unsavoury if you ask me and doesn't help

I blame the internet mate.

If it wasn't for that we'd all be a bit more decent.

I have never been a fan of the general scapegoating of one player.

Me either mate, they're all currently rubbish. Wish they'd sort it out the lot of em', Ronald included.

Felt sorry for Cleverly, the reaction to him when he was going off, he didn't have a good game, but he ran himself into the ground, tried and tried, the more he did the less successful he was, but at least he sweated for the team, couldn't have given any more. You couldn't say that about one or two others who played yesterday.Cleverly didn't play well but he didn't deserve that.

He not a winger for one and again you have to doubt the managers tactics and team selection?
Cleverly, and Jags, should not make the bench IMO!
Especially Jags as I want to remember him as th great centre back he has been cleverly was an English international till Kevin Davis snapped his ankle - never been the same player since
