Btw on Vellios, as I've said before my cousin is a coach at everton and works/has worked with Vellios. Supposedly he's not all that...

But then despite this he's scored some good goals in his appearances for us

he's done well when given a chance in the first team, but yeah not great record for the reserves this season. if he's doing it in the first team from the bench though, i think he possibly could have been given more of a chance every now and then.

Plenty of players go through droughts. Some get over it, Jelavic is playing well now and you're all still writing him off i just don't understand it.

yes it's QPR, but they're full of prem league experienced players and will probably be back there next year

Its not about writing him off, there is only so long a good club can allow a player to have a drought, when there is the chance that it is not a drought and he is just not as good as we thought. He shows energy and gets into position for some chances thats all i can say for him.

I think in this case we can safely say we need a new striker, and another to replace Lukaku in the summer. This is a very good team and I think we can trust Bobby to get in somebody to put some of the chances away...you know, the ones Jelavic would have been missing as he has been for over a year.
