Indeed. That was my point. We ALWAYS missed James. A beautiful player in ever way. But he preferred Instagram and private jets and our manager at the time thought it was a good idea to rid himself of James while keeping Iwobi. Madness.

Looking back on it, this side is so much worse than the 94 side. That side had very little flair players apart from Limpar, but what they had was good height in Ferguson,Rideout,Watson,Ablett and an excellent dead ball specialist in Hinchcliffe. They could all scrap and showed it by winning the Fa Cup the next season..

This side terrifies me. From the team starting tonight, I only want Gordon,Godfrey and Richarlison to be starting next year.

Hopefully in the Premier league

As far as I can see, this team needs a three man midfield before even considering anything else. I honestly can't understand why we don't play it.

Agree but it’s probably because we don’t have anyone to put in there, Gomes would get shown up against this midfield, he isn’t strong or fast enough. In hindsight we probably should have kept Banningemie

I loved James. Best player we had in 20 years. But he wasn't arsed. Openly so. I would have kept him because you can't rid yourself of a player of that, albeit mercurial, talent and keep the likes of Iwobi and Gomes. My point is that WE ALWAYS missed James when he wasn't on the pitch for us - but, hey, feel free to shoot me a middle finger if you like. Very lady like.

If you loved him then you certainly have a very weird way to show your fondness as you are always posting negative stuff about him, specially when I am the one making a comment about James.

I’m a very lady like when deserving. I don’t shoot middle fingers really often so if you got one that’s more on you than me
