Southampton game I took my nephew for his first match experience. Brilliant day.

Today, I took my dad, in his 60's, to his first game. His interest in football/everton has grown over the last two years, watching games on tv with me etc and following the results.

It is safe to say, this absolute rollercoaster of a game was fantastic and I will savour this experience and bonding with my dad for a long time, as I did and am with my nephew.

That was the match that broke Martinez. Everything went downhill after that.

Literally was. He made some comments publicly about realising he couldn't play as open as he did after that game.

The next obvious move was to start playing Cleverly on the wing.

Fair play to Koeman for admitting we had a fair bit of luck at 3-2, rather than trying to spin it

Sounds like we were under the cosh a bit at that time. Thankfully it also sounds like we have a goalkeeper capable of winning us points.

However the real key to today's victory was Niasse coming off the bench. Totally sparked our reaction.
