Surprised by the team but delighted for Lookman.

Would not be starting Barry anymore myself.

Can understand some rotation for Davies but would do that more for away games.

Would have started Holgate he is at a stage now where he needs a long run in the side.

Happy for McCarthy he still has something to offer and I would not like his career with us to just peter out from the bench.

Shows we still have options despite the squad culling.

Have more than enough to win today, settle for any win but would be nice to do it comfortably.

COYB!

3 defensive mids at home to Bournemouth. Why is he changing a winning formation? One bad half from Holgate and he's hooked.

It's got nothing to do with 'hooking' anybody.

He's gone with a back four and some added insurance in midfield so that Coleman and Baines can still get forward.

Holgate isn't ready to play in a two yet.

Three forwards as well, plus a full debut for Lookman.

I think McCarthy will be pushing on with Morgan next to Barry.

Things that make you go hmmm.... Sort of interested in seeing how this trio works out in the same way as I'm interested in my dentist x-rays. Something just feels wrong. I mean, bar a coupla goals /assists we're talking about three players blessed with roughly the same attacking credentials as Tom Cleverley. I'm happy with any one of them sitting, and two if we're protecting a lead, but all three seems heavy handed.

I'm tempted to go all out and say this is plain wrong, just for the pure joy of one of them scoring first (or ideally a hat trick) and I'll GLADLY doff cap to Ronko.

#BlueToff's analysis is giving me hope though.
