Was working so didn't see the game. Just caught the short highlights on sky sports. DCL took his goals very well.

Heard we picked up some injuries. Not good but Ancelotti didn't seem to mention anything? Hope they all OK.

Got to say that tonight was mixed emotions.

I had genuine dread for the PL when richy and Allan went off (kenny not so much).

However, I think we controlled the game really well although I think Carlo needs to look at our concentration right after half time as that’s twice now.

Got to say as well that despite his massive detractors on here, Gylfi played really well tonight for me and is showing he still has the quality to challenge Gomes for a starting place.

West Ham fielded Eight changes from their hammering of Wolves, I'm not saying eleven reserves. Im also saying I'd have preferred it if we'd not gone so strong and WON 2-1 or whatever.

What a cost this could be and the derby in two or three weeks.

We have literally did that for years and constantly get knocked out - the club is desperate for silverware, absolutely desperate.

Nonsense. We wouldn't have got past Fleetwood with our second string. And we would be getting beat tonight without those first team players.
Injuries can happen at anytime.. We could get injuries against Brighton.
so imo that's a stupid comment. Injuries happen.
Anyhow......let's see how bad things are. We can't be lying down to teams just because we might get injuries.
Ps.......our second string are useless. To be competitive we need to go strong.

To be honest, I think that he is right. What we should do is disband as a club then we would never get another injury.

Delph wasn’t the best player because James was on the pitch and Dominic scored a hat trick but I gave it to him any way because he had a very good game and was involved from start to finish, hope he gets a start on Saturday in place of Allan who won’t be fit.
