Those of us with a certain number of miles on the clock know fear that accompanies hope. We have experienced hope before and it didn’t end well. We know good things can happen to Evertonians it is just that they happened quite a while ago. We have been conditioned to believe that a good run of form is not a precursor to something good but an omen.
If we beat West Ham it just deepens the sense of impending doom.
Five wins out of five, just exactly what does Carlo think he is playing at. He is an evil man.

Still wouldn’t risk Mina until another cb is back and fit. Reckon Lucas starts at cb again. Also think Bernard will start in the middle of the 3 again with Gordon getting the nod wide left.
