....our home record doesn't lie, it's not about atmosphere or the crowd, it's about us not having the ability to break teams down. The Baggies were missing defensive players but the manager had them organised. For those on here who complain about individuals, it's more about organisation than personnel.

Everybody but Rom played well in the first 11.
Kone came on because he draws attention away from Rom and in the past they worked well together. He offers a better presence in the box. It is the very definition of a Plan B. If you don't recognize that I don't know what to say.
Osman came in because he has good ball control in and around the 18. Kev is better in the break where he can use his pace.
maybe taking Lennon off could be criticized but Gerry was providing good service as well. Sometimes you don't get the luck. It's not like we played crap. Frustrated yes but not like stoke last season where we played absolute garbage
Oviedo and Barry provided decent balls from the left and Oviedo was basically playing as a wide mid as soon as Kone came in because we had all of the ball.
Barkley didn't finish well. He basically was in on goal alone and skied it. Our finishing was far more the problem than anything to do with the manager.

Nope. Martinez appears to be letting him rot, for reasons only known to the two of them.
The fault in that goal was simply no defenders on the posts. Goalie could do nothing about that.

West brim turned up to defend, they man marked lukaku out if the box and between the 4 centre halves and 10 men behind the ball we didn't get the luck we needed.
It was one of Those games, subs were bad sure but in all honesty west brom planned to just shut us out and they did it. Anyone else today would have been hammered here.

the way the game was today, baines probably should have came on for Oviedo - the theory of oviedo starting as he is better defensively and faster was mute as our lb was basically playing as a winger all game, get the player on who can create
