First 30 minutes we looked fantastic, rest of the game we looked pretty poor, guess we still have a long way to go with fitness and Marco needs to be more proactive with making changes earlier than later. 2 clean sheets and a draw away and win at home so can't complain about the start of the season

First, he is so strong, defenders were trying to bully him off the ball and slam into him, and he was just taking on 2-3 at a time and holding it impressively well. Then, he had 2 opportunities, he took them strongly and with confidence, beat defenders and then just barely missed the 2nd.

Very strong physically + the ability and desire he showed when holding their players off was silly.

Richarlison is a concern for me like. Needs to pick himself up, just hasn't been at the races so far.

Dont forget he had the Copa + Mumps

...much as I thought, much as I hoped, a hard fought win.

Hardly any off-sides reflect we are having to defend deep, I doubt that’s what we want to do in the longer term.

Impressed with Kean, his 2nd miss more than his first miss. Finally looks a player who can make a difference.
It wasn't THAT bad, Some nice bits. Kean looks like a very dangerous shark patrolling his waters. He's going to kill some defenders this season.

Kean looks like the X Factor weve been lacking.

Not concerned about Richarlison, just getting up to speed after pretty much no preseason. His movement is still good though, always seems to know where to drift to find space and be a threat, just a shame his finishing was off.

2nd half was ugly but we won regardless which is the kind of grit needed to make it through a season. Thought Bernard, Moise, Keane, and Mina were great. Would have preferred to have seen Iwobi come on instead of Walcott.

Curious to see how Gomes and Gbamin can develop as partners.

Still early days, Richarlison isn't quite there with his sharpness which is fine as he only had 45 minutes of pre-season football. Worried about Digne though - with Delph out for a bit and Baines only just coming back
