Problems we have

Coleman : Defensively terrible

Mina : He's never played as a left defender

Bernard : He was mostly a reserve for Shakhtar, not sure he's a starter for a top10 EPL team.

Walcott : My blood pressure raises..... He gets into a good position but screws everything up by not lifting his head up and looking around. Awful

Sig : Not great, but we don't have any other player of this characteristic.

Rich : Has to be played out of position due to our overspending on Tosun who isn't fit for this.

Lookman/Calvin : Too many players for the wide areas, not enough for central.

Loads had poor games, shaded the first half, but they took control second and frankly a combination of them seeming to want it more and just outworking, and out muscling us all second half.

Dodged a bullet snd robbed a point t that game.

Shows to me anyway that whilst we have imo a very good starting 11, beyond that we have absolutely nothing, so soon as a few are off form or need a rest during a busy stretch like this we either bring in crap, or persist playing out of form or knackered players.

You blaming Pickford for the fiirst goal?
No I'm not but it still concerns me how many goals we concede in the 6 yard box. The 2nd goal though, the ball was in the air for an awful long time and Pickford was rooted to his line. Now I'm not saying should have come and caught it but surely he's got to anticipate roughly where that ball is goin and his footwork should be better to try and get close to the cross.

team looked a bit jaded from the start. some players need a rest. gomes being one. I would just freshen up against city with a few youngsters. need our better players fully fit over xmas period.
You can't press like we have, esp when it's all new to the team and not rotate.

Klopp and pep have learnt this the hard way and have adjusted.

Seems Marco wasn't watching

They dominated us for the early second half.
Silva late with subs.
Flukey own goal.
Pen miss.

We didn't deserve any less than a draw. Digne is quality.
I thought we deserved to lose and are lucky to walk away with a point. We had more of the play in the first half but didn’t carve many clear chances apart from our goal. Watford came at us second half and looked like they were the home side. The own goal was unfortunate but the move deserved the goal and they were unlucky to hit the post in the first place.

On the bright side, looks like Baines has been properly retired by Digne. Glad he's been able to hit the ground running as soon as he did.

Until we get a top striker, we are going to struggle to make the top 6. It's now been 17 months since Lukaku left with no replacement. Tosun doesn't count as he's crap.
