Oumar Niasse. As always he brought a lot of energy and positivity to the game.
No introductions required, Silva will know all about him...and with him being not the worst by far of our players, I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing.
It will give him an idea of the magnitude of his task

Oumar for me. Any coach worth his salt would have started him with Tosun at home. I forgot we have Sam don't we so we get Bolasie running in circles for at least 45 minutes.

One thing I'll put out there is that Gueye was insane defensively today. so much work and quite a few great challenges in the bank, a lot right around the 18.

while Niasse was a great offensive catalyst, Gueye was great today in defense.

Frankly, the main problem in our squad is that Gueye/Schneiderlin/Davies, even if they're all on top form, aren't the playing-between-the-lines creative type players that we need, but just for defensive work, Gueye needs a shout out

Between Coleman and Niase but went for Coleman as he was trying for 90 minutes if the rest had oumars and colemans attitude then we might actually have been alright this year

That was a dreadful performance.

Tactics that you would see in Sunday league and professional players who continually surrender possession even when attempting to pass a ball six yards.

Not many came out of that game with any credit. Niasse, Coleman, Pickford and perhaps Jagielka.

Hoping that the board, DOF, manager and squad are all improved on before the new season seems like a pipe dream.

Coleman was very good yesterday but when Niasse came on the tempo increased. We had 3 defensive midfielders on the pitch at home to Southampton says it all really. In his short cameo Klaassen showed better movement, more guile and better link up play than any of Gueye, Davis and Schneiderlin.

Don't understand how anyone can vote for an Everton player. Schneiderlin will never make a defensive player, because he is scared of
the ball & turns his back on a shot. He can never make an attacking midfielder because he passes sideways and backwards.
Gueye broke his own record for passing back 10 yards whilst he was in the Soton penalty box. For the first time in my life, I say that
we didn't deserve a point.

went for Niasse , but a dreadful showing to end our home fixtures on a season of disappointments , heres hoping for a miracle turnaround next season we are dire at the moment
