the centre backs are clearly our downfall regarding this system though. when howard gets the ball they have an extar 10 yards further up the field to run in to, but they hold back and wait for the ball to come to them then always end up turning backwards and passing it backwards or forwards, neither are comfortable at all. stones is always turning and looking forward for the pass and looking to dribble around the striker.

Players are scared to make mistakes and are suffering from it. Nothing worse than when players are low on confidence as all you do is second guess decisions.
