Mick you are so wrong.

First off a good fa cup run is good for the finances and what if we are dumped out of the other comps in the next round, what have we got then. Please do not be such an arse.

As for the game Moyes got it wrong with his team selection by playind has beens in important positions, yes Stubbs and Gravesen also trying to play 4-3-3 or trying to use Mcf has a midfielder, as big a cock up as last seasond Spurs game at home.

Now down to the players, just goes to show not with standing our recent results the squad lacks depth.

But never try to kid yourself by saying the FA Cup is not important just to cover up losing.

Ok what I think if anyone cares:

Moyes got it spot on. we have a semi final next week- pretty big game. We are through to the next round of the UEFA cup- big games. We are 6th in the PREMIERSHIP- big games.

To play our best fit 11 against an Oldham Side that would no doubtedly kicked heffing great lumps out of players I too wopuld have dropped the Yak, Howard, Lescott, Cahill etc.

I love the FA cup but at the end of the day if we had come out if this game without the Yak, Howard or any others I deem as big players for Chelsea and the upcoming games I would be pissed.

Lets move on- and look forward to the cup semi.

I don't fully agree there. If he wanted to rest Yak, why did he come on? Same with Lescott?

We should treat each game as the only game to play. We shouldn't be doing a Benitez and playing for the next game. What was important was today's game and that defeat is going to be a crushing blow to some of the players' confidence.

Chelsea are going to be buoyed by it too.

We have gone out of an important competition because we are worried about another competition. Its just daft. Its the reason why Benitez will never win the Premiership.

But saying that, the team that we put out were capable of winning.

Obviously im arsed at losing.

But im not gonna lose no sleep about it.

Because its simple really, we have much bigger things to look forward to.

LEAGUE CUP SEMI [Poor language removed] FINAL :D

Playing 30 minutes and 20 minutes as a sub are different to play 90 from the start.

Robert yes we did lose it is bad news as Chico said our kids should have enough abou them to beat Oldham at home, but we have lost and its time to look ahead to the three competitions we are excelling in.

Or we could all piss and moan and cry. Shall we cry?

I'm just annoyed. Its like a lot of good work undone in one fell swoop.

But why rest Yak/Lescott? Its to stop them from being injured primarily. Just as much chance of that happening when you bring them on.

It makes more sense to get the game won and then rest the players, rather than assuming that the game is won.

firstly you pedantic [Poor language removed] just for you i meant Kirkby and you know it.

We have to get 50£ Mill as part of any financing plan. And exactly where minus the ground sale do we get that kind of money? The fact is id like to know where do we get this so called money from to help form part of this shady deal with leahy? [Poor language removed] we couldnt afford the damn docks move for 30£mill.

dixie I dont hold grudges against anyone for their opinions :p

Everton where shocking today, but not as shocking as gravo, terrible...even our kids should easily be able to beat oldham....no matter what team we put out, we should easily be able to beat oldham.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You have just summed up your positive capabilities with that intellectual retort.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

is anyone else listening to the radio ?

fans were cheesed at the result , then moyes has come out and been very condescending and the fans are now doubly cheesed off.

one fan said he should have apologised after the game and after the comments he should defo apologise now.

has moyes just hit the self destruct button with a portion of fans ?

Until we beat Chelsea in the week then yes. After the win he will be loved again. Football is fickle and fans even more so. I love this game.

What has he said? I read what he said on the OS and seems an honest assessment.

What is it with scousers and the word Disgrace. They seem to love saying it.

Its a [Poor language removed] disgrace.

I hear Pete Price's callers always using the word disgrace. My pension is a disgrace, Moyes is a disgrace, Kirkby is a disgrace. Stop moaning please. :)

It was just one of those games. Should have won, could have won. Didn't win.

Its not papering over any cracks, its not showing the lack of tactics by the boss, its just unlucky. I would have liked a stronger side out, but the team still should have won.

Also that clown on City FM phoning in to say we are inconsistent. What a tool.

And as for Eric on TW Mail Bag, just cos you saw Roy Vernon score a goal, doesn't mean your the divine voice.

Still lots to play for, and lets hope they pick themselves off the ground quickly.

The people I feel for today are the fans who took their kids and spent a small bomb watching the match.

We will get over it though, this has shown that although our squad is sound were still not as a strong as what we would like to think, we harded tested Crossley in goal.

We might be spending some money, or more likely getting some loan deals.
