I was confident about this game, well as confident as an Evertonian ever can be! But I'm not so sure now, Newcastle have made some decent signings this window and are definitely a stronger team for it. Do you know how the manager could get us off to the best possible start tonight? Simply by starting Joel. The atmosphere will be apathetic at best if he persists with Howard once again, but will be buzzing if Joel is given the nod.

It's about more than just the goalie though, it'll show he's actually got the balls to make the decision to drop a player, and show that he isn't irretrievably arrogant and stubborn.
