.....the 'inverted' winger role for Bolasie wasn't as evident yesterday, he appeared a much more conventional wide player for much of the game. The full backs do look a lot more disciplined in respect of neglecting their positions but it was good to see Coleman is still capable of being a real threat.

yep Coleman still got forward quite a lot whereas Baines hasn't really pushed on too much. It's working though if we aren't conceding goals or chances.

Still a lot more to come I thing eggs but it's all about getting confidence and belief as high as possible as it's took an absolute pounding the past 2 years.

Actually while the 2nd half was less entertaining for goalmouth action than the 1st half I think what the second half showed was that we can also comfortably control and close out a game. To me that's a massive improvement on what I've seen at any other time in the last 20 years and the most encouraging sign yet of how impressively Koeman is going about his game management and tactics. The fact the players seem to get it so well bodes well for the future. Let's see where we are in 5 more games though!

Yes.

I never felt at any stage in the second half they they were going to score even one goal and make it uncomfortable for us in the closing stages.

What I am loving most of all is the idea that a defender's first priority is to defend......not take the fraction of a second required to start an attack, the crucial split second which has allowed an attacker to worry them into a mistake too often this past couple years.

2nd in the league, 2nd best GD and 2nd best defence, is rice.

Best start to the League since 1978/9.

Barry hitting 600 Premier appearances

Barry scoring

Seamus scoring

Having a nice pint in the city centre sunshine with Everton second

I am so glad we picked this game to travel :-)

Now for Dubs v Mayo!!

COYBIB!!

It's too early to be worshipping the table, but it's really impressive that with only 15 points to play for we've already opened a 6 point cushion up over 8th place and we're 12 or more points ahead of some of the teams that finished above us last season.

Keep it up Everton.
