Because he’s basically a hard working wide midfielder, who contributes more defensively, we need more going the other way and he rarely provides it. With dyche as manager we will have to get used to hard working in players over talented ones
McNeill has a good cross on him and can score, he's sound. Never going to be world class, but neither is Danjuma or anyone else

Nobody could have defended that first goal ... it was a poor cross, Garnacho did amazing. No shame in conceding a goal like that ... but we could have got back into the game, so a disappointing result all in. Young keeps giving away goals, no idea why he keeps getting a game
The breakdown was in the other side. One of McNeil, Gana or Branthwaite needed to pick up Dalot. After that, there’s nothing more to defend really. It’s a great strike.

We have a habit of letting other sides dominate us in the midfield

That is now both billy gilmore at Chelsea and mainoo at Man Utd with man of the match performances on their debuts
Yeah when we set up to bypass our own midfield it happens like that. We just can't hold down a midfield with effectively having 1 water carrier who can't pass to save his life and Garner to do everything else, which shouldn't really be a surprise but it seems like it is?

Well can he really score ? And how many crosses did he put in today? All I heard last season was he will be amazing when DCL is back and getting on the end of his crosses, but I’m not seeing it.

In his prem career he averages a goal every 13 games, (14 goals in 179 games) his 7 last season was a fluke

How about closing down the cross with any urgency or the player before him or someone trailing Garnacho anyway instead of letting him do whatever he wants alone in the box? lol

Tbh it'd be pointless to lump it towards slabhead in the box all game. Not that we didn't do it against everyone else, but this is probably the only thing Maguire is good at.

Sigh Ashley Young
5 bbookings for the club and shouldn't more

Booked first minute at Brentford away,
Terrible sending of at Anfield with a second booking in such stupid circumstances for someone so experienced,
And well today another terrible challenge which he could have had a second Yellow for and killed the game off

Get round the back of your full back then. Don’t think he took on dalot once
Oh no not defending him in general, his movement was non existent and at most what he did was stop any attack we have going there and play a short pass back, even Myko ran past him a few times lol

Just saying that lumping it in today would've been a bit meh, which is allegedly his only strength anyway.
