100% agree - 1230 Saturday seems mental, BT's choice obviously. If it is a dull lethargic 0-0 (my bet) they'll look a bit daft
Any word on injuries?

There's no inferiority complex. The squad changes year on year and most of this team hasn't lost the derby that often. We’ve picked up maximum points quarter final of the league cup sometimes playing half with strength teams. If we lose this we lose this but we will have a full strength team hopefully and if we don’t atleast give them a hell of a game. If we muster up an abysmal performance we will never ever ever shake that derby inferiority complex.
Please get at them blues.

We've played them 19 times since we beat them but 11 of them have been draws.
Apart from the fact James now plays for us, it is no different to the last 100 international breaks. It is fine.I'm concerned about James, Mina, and Richarlison not getting back in time to play, or to play well. Brazil's last game is the the evening of Tuesday the 13th in Peru. Same date for Colombia, in Chile. Them's some long-ass flights to be ready for a game on Saturday the 17th at Goodison..
apparently all the South Americans are going to be a bit sleepy.Any word on injuries?

Godfrey can cover Mina but we have no one available to cover James or Richarlison.
Worst case scenario is they start from the bench and we can stay in the game until half time and bring them on 2nd half.
Aaah, the simple ways of times gone by, when Dixie Dean got stone drunk in The Winslow on friday night, slept it off in the pub, and the next day scored a hat-trick against LiverpoolI do think they will limit his minutes against Venezuela though, they're not a very strong team and they'll want him fit and full of energy for the Chile game.
Oh but when Darron Gibson does it and knocks over a cyclist driving home drunk on a Tuesday morning it's not ok? God, the double standards in this place.Aaah, the simple ways of times gone by, when Dixie Dean got stone drunk in The Winslow on friday night, slept it off in the pub, and the next day scored a hat-trick against Liverpool

Bit of a difference between getting drunk and sleeping it off in the pub, and getting drunk then going for a drive don't you think?Oh but when Darron Gibson does it and knocks over a cyclist driving home drunk on a Tuesday morning it's not ok? God, the double standards in this place.
