I dont know look at West ham today they destroyed them and west ham are worse then villa and Sheffield utd mate.

I mean I hope to continue in the same vein when we come back a win against these in 2 weeks and things all of a sudden become very interesting

Villa dont worry me in the slightest mate. Zero squad depth - 1-2 injuries and they'll be done.

Tonight was a fluke result thats about it for me - doesn't make Villa great or RS crap.

Agreed in everything you say there pal. You don't go from champions to crap in 4 games. That being said they say trying to retain the title is the hardest thing to do. So we might as well help them by taking it off their hands now

For me it's not about feeling overly confident. I know it's early. I know we have a long way to go.

But to even acknowledge the possibility that we might be in the mix shows complete disregard for what's actually happening on the pitch and just going with the good old narratives that United, Spurs, etc are better just because they are.
Just to be clear I am in no way defending the dreadful excuses they have for football pundits nowadays, I was just making the point the when Leicester had spent over half a season smashing everybody they played, they we all still dissing them, so after four games, is no way they will give us any credit, at a push they might concede that we could have a chance of to top 6, but even that would only be on the grounds that one of the media darlings fell on their face, it would never be due to our own merits. It can only be a matter of time before they start selling all our players to ManU, Chelsea, City etc.

this is the height of it. Everything went right for Villa against a team whose weakeness they were perfectly set up to expose. While it could have been 10, there were 3 freak deflections, probably a red pen at 0-0 if we are honest and Villa's 3rd goal shouldnt have counted.

That said, the scar tissue for them rolling into the derby is massive. We win, we put vinegar into their wounds, they win, it's out of their system and they are back on track. I realise I said 3 points is 3 points no matter who you play on friday, but to beat them now and destabilise them a bit more is a MASSIVE opportunity.
