I hope we try to beat Chelsea. We've turned the corner. Lets try and get back some of our attacking confidence.

This is a perfect opportunity.......it is the least pressurised match we have played in months.

As most people expect nowt from the visit to The Bridge, just go out and play. See what hapens.

If Bradfird can score four against them there is no reason we can't score a goal or two.

And without Costa they aren't as potent up front.

I fancy a point at least.

No they're not.

Coutinho is lightweight and inconsistent.......he couldn't make it into the worst Brazil squad in living memory at the last World Cup.

Sterling flatters to deceive and promises much more than he ever delivers.

Ibe has been playing in the Championship all season up to just last week.......not a pedigree to make anyone think that attacking a team he was playing in is "suicide".

You hold them in too high regard, my friend.
Makes you wonder why Bobbys so afraid of them don't it?

The problem is confidence is a fragile thing, and any progress we have made in the last few weeks could take a knock with another drubbing by Chelsea. That being said, I really don't want to see the three in the middle again for this game, regardless of how defensively tight it makes us. If I see a team sheet with one winger I'll rant about it for the rest of the day as per usual.

If we had Sterling and Coutinho on our team, we'd be raving about them. Good players both, though I suspect Sterling is a massive whopper. And not being in that Brazil team is really an endorsement of Coutinho rather than an indictment.

I think he will go with the same three in midfield.

If he felt the need to play that formation to stifle what is a bang average RS team at home then it seems logical to me he will go again at Chelsea.

I woulld love to see McGeady played in an inside forward role in place of Naismith.

We are crying out for a clever player to play Lukaku in around the edge of the box and Aiden seems to have the eye for the clever pass plus he might get in a few good shots on goal from a central position rather than always be cutting in, looking to make an angle for a shot.

That is the key phrase.

"good players" for sure.

But that's it.

They aren't the kind of names one sees on the oposition teamsheet and says "oh, it would be suicide if we try and attack this team".

Which is what our friend was saying in t' first place.

How dare you call them good when they're clearly very good!?

*Rips shirt off and charges at Khalekan

I'd like to see something like that too. Unfortunately, I don't think Lukaku is the type of striker to give Cahill and Terry too many nightmares. They struggle against someone who has pace and can run with the ball, which just isn't Rom, and a bit of creativity to get it to his feet directly is the only other viable option. Really, I would just like to see two wingers. I don't know if he was doing some "unseen" work that was lost on me, but Barry seemed to be a complete passenger in our stifling job on Liverpool. Surely, it would be better to have outlets on both sides to give us a slightly better chance of offering something in attack and holding the ball in their half?
