People pay good money to go watch a game and if players are putting in half ar"ed displays they deserve to get it both barrels. If i turned up to work and went through the motions you can be sure my boss and work colleagues would give me a roasting.

The minimum is 100 percent effort and looking like you actually give a sh"t, if not then you deserve everything you get, and if you do not agree tough sh"t to you too, or maybe i'll just boo your post..... BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But it was happening before they scored and we where winning. That's what I don't understand.

Whenever they scored and it really got loud you could see how it affected the players. They couldn't make a 5 yard pass.

I think those posters who criticise the crowd and other GOT posters who (in the heat the moment) vent their frustration, need to acknowledge this : we were playing Hull (FFS!), at home, under lights. And we put out that performance.

I would fire staff who performed like that...no bull

Have your say. My problem is the mongo booing that goes on. Sure your boss wudnt boo as u walked out the door from work.

Reeks of arrogance too - "ohh let the opposition huff and puff, we'll dazzle them with our patient build up play and score eventually!"
Arrogance is a good adjective to describe it.

We are far too complacent at times (like today after we had scored), and then we regularly seem to lack impetus to claw back a result.

If our tikka taka approach isn't working against a team, then sometimes you need to up the tempo or simply lump it into the box.

It isn't nice. It isn't clever. It isn't what I want all the time, and it certainly isn't enjoyable to watch.

Yet occasionally... just occasionally... it is what is needed. However, we seem to rigid and 'arrogant' to try this, as it doesn't suit our image.

The fact we only got a point from Hull doesn't bother me as much, as the fact how tepid our reaction was. At least show us some guile!

I'm not going to jump on this whole ridiculous Martinez out bandwagon, but he needs to proverbially wake up and smell the coffee.

Naismith never gives a NEA or half arsed performance.

Reckon this is one of the issues. Barkley doesn't chase like Naisy.
We've been awful all season including pre-season nomatter who plays. Without Rom scoring and he's done well given the service I fear where we would be.

Everton goalscorer Romelu Lukaku:"We as a team have to improve. Last year, playing at home was our strength, this year it has been difficult."
