Good, professional performance. Would have liked to have seen a positive opening 15 minutes to the second half to see if we could force the third before shutting up shop, but the clean sheet at home in Europe is everything.

The real encouragement was from that first 45, and that's how we'd play for the 90 in the league if needed. Great stuff.

You were quite good I thought, if not for our keeper you'd have scored one or two

well done blues, nick one away goal and the tie is over, shame we didn't kill it off with rooney's chance, but good game management again, no need to run around like headless chickens for the full 90 every game because we'd be dead on our feet by the winter.

Just need a bit much quality in that final 3rd with siggurdson, sandro, a new striker and bolasie to come in there.

Big performances from the top players and Gueye / Schneiderlin was quality again.

Davies and Donkey Calvert-Jo did themselves no favours when they came on.
