I don’t think that is strictly true

When I lived overseas in Asia the time difference meant that games would be broadcast live at around 11 pm at night or even later

The opposite if you live in America, a 12:30 kick off here means you have to be up at 6am or something in America

If they really wanted to cater for the overseas market they would change the kick off times to suit the overseas market

Isn't that why they have the 12.30, 5.30 and 8pm Kos so it caters at least 1 game to a time zone

Partly true I imagine but when else would you show games if you are a broadcaster? If you can’t overlap with the traditional Saturday 3pm games, then 12:30 and 5:30pm are as late/early as you can do.
And 7:45/8pm kick offs have been around for decades.
