We won't be 7th ...11th morelike

Nah, we played fine tonight overall - just lacking that bit of guile/luck we had at the start of the season.

Palace in great form - they looked bloody unplayable at times tonight. Inevitably, Pardew will crash and burn at some point, but hand it to them, they played brilliantly.

We didn't stop their crosses at source though, and that needs sorting sharpish.

Oh, and barkley - played well first-half - but his stupid short free-kick led to their second and he lost his head again after that.

Problem is, we should be including Bournemouth and Palace in the favourable run, yet we've claimed 1 pt from 6. We've still got Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Leicester and the RS at some point, and that concerns me greatly.

Most would agree mate.

On the plus, Koeman isn't Dutch Moyes in that he ground out decent results against the big boys at Southampton.

Had 4 centre mids playing and couldnt get the ball down and knock it around, long balls all game. Think i'll take couple weeks off Everton, onwards and upwards.

We were very disjointed and unbalanced. Never seriously troubled palace. Thought we were awful tbh. So many misplaced passes and second to the ball so often. Ref didn't help by constantly blowing his whistle. Very disappointed. Thought Ross done OK

Very disappointing, players not at the required fitness level to press for 90 minutes and a sheer lack of quality throughout the squad which admittedly will take a few windows to get right.
