I think the use of "texan" as a derogatory term has finally jumped the shark. Might I suggest the following:

Oklahomans: bands of scruffs who flounce about on land swiped from Native Americans and doled out like an all-u-can-eat buffet at Golden Corral. Might feel good at first but your colon (and conscience) will hate you later. Oklahoma is really nothing more than a large Dallas suburb - there's buckets of Texas envy in Oklahoma.

Florabamans - denizens of the Florida panhandle closer to the Alabama border. In a country chock full of Cletus rednecks, Florabamans are a different kind of animal alltogether. Think Wools but with more lice, Natural Light stored cans in the back of their 1986 Ford F-300 dually (you're gonna need to look that one up) like family heirlooms and not afraid to don a sheet and start fires.

Remember lads, Texas was an independent republic until it was illegally annexed by a bunch of Yankee teds almost 200 years ago. What was once, shall be again.

That's more like it.

Benteke is out for maybe 4 months apparently

Crystal Palace striker Jonathan Benteke has been ruled out for between three and four months with a knee injury.

The 21-year-old Belgian, the younger brother of Palace record signing Christian, has made one appearance for the Eagles since signing in August.

Palace manager Alan Pardew said the injury news was "disappointing" for both club and player.

Pardew, whose team visit Everton in the Premier League on Friday, said: "His meniscus on his knee is the problem."

was wondering if 3-5-2 might be a consideration, what with oviedo being a bit plop at left back and just to change something as we were so poor against bornemout

------barry gana barkley-----
--------rom bolasie

however i think we will continue with 2 wingers and try and get at their full backs due to the injuries they have in that position

I just love the way people want so much for us to play 2 up top.

I think Ronny has a real desire to play 2 strikers more often, but we simply do not have 2 Strikers to play sadly.

Hopefully we get the boy Haller wrapped up as a matter of urgency in January.

just a thought to change things up as we dont seem to have the personal to change things, generally we just need to play better dont we?
