Everyone praising iwobi and yes his performances have been much better, but MOTD pointed out at least 3 times when he fluffed a counter attack by either not seeing the right pass or running into a defender and losing possession.
I think given the fans support Dele would get back to his best and show he’s a class above making the key killer passes we need. Frank needs to start him, giving him more time rather than letting iwobi waste key opportunities.
Risky to swap iwobi for dele now

Wobes has been pressing like a mad man, dele presses like a goalie. Do we want to lose the press for the possibility of a killer ball and little else ?

Pickford
Coleman Mina Keane Mykolenko
Delph
Doucoure iwobi
Gordon Rondon richarlison

Tough to say what Lampard will do.

For me - we look so much better in midfield with a natural sitter, and Delph is the only one who does it effectively.

Toss of a coin between Allan and doucoure - I’d have doucoure for the extra legs he brings.

Up top I think it’s obvious that richarlison is better off the left and think it’s worth the sacrifice of playing Rondon for what it could bring out of richarlison. Think there’s an argument for Dele to start but just think Iwobi offers much more energy in the midfield and is turning into an important player for us in the run in.

Some weak links in there of course, but looking at that team on paper it’s a a travesty we are where we are.

Sure I just seen a press release that Delph as picked up an injury in training and is out for Chelsea game?

Hoping for something out of this game, a win would be a huge boost particularly if Burnley get beaten. But so much for stating the obvious.
I can't believe I am about to type this but Delph being out is a bit of a blow but at this stage I don't think it matters that much who we put on the field, it is now down to commitment, there is one good game in most of our first team squad they just have to deliver.
