I must be mixing up my matches because I remember him coming off with the hump in a match and not looking injured.

Something about his calf from memory but he wasn't limping, and anyway, that was weeks ago.
He was injured in the first half but insisted, at half time, that he was okay to carry, but it was obvious that he was carrying an injury and substituted, then the little boy came out in him and he took a tantrum coming off and carried on in the dug out for the rest of the afternoon.

Give him his due later in the week he admitted that Mr. Benitez was right to take him off and had probably done him a favour stopping him aggravating the injury, although it hadn’t stopped the manager getting loads of stick from fans who had a go at him for takingCharlie off.

Off the RS BBC site:

  • Everton have lost their first league game in each of the past four calendar years. They haven't fared worse since losing seven in a row between 1957 and 1963.
  • FSW's side have only won once in 11 league matches since the start of October (D3, L7). It's the worst top-flight record across October, November and December in the club's history.
  • Nineteen points is Everton's lowest top-flight tally at the turn of the year if all seasons are recalculated to three points for a win.
  • Everton have scored a league-high 76% of their goals in the second half of games this season. Their tally of five goals before half-time is the joint lowest in the division.
  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored in three of his past four Premier League appearances against Brighton.

The big question is are we going to out run them?

possession wise we will get duped again 35-65 at least!
We're going to beat them in running by a country mile, don't worry. It's going to be too hot of a half time cuppa which is going to cost us.
