Match Thread Bournemouth v Everton. Tue Dec 2. 7.30

Weve had the same problems defending crosses for years. The solution: we didnt buy a right back and were still playing Keane and Tarkowski. Pickford still glued to his line. I mean this is amateurish…

I'm looking forward to this game. I'm pleased it's coming so quickly as our players - if they have anything about them - will be determined to put yesterday's horror show to bed quickly.

Their reaction will tell a tale.

Woke up feeling rotten. After a bowl of porridge, I've relaxed a bit and thought about the next game. Might have been a blessing in disguise Timmy had such a bad game. Moyes hopefully accepts he can't play the Gana role and can't drop KDH, so probably best to push him back beside Garner and bring Charly in for more ball carrying energy. Not convinced JoB is any better at RB tbh as Semenyo will cause him a lot of problems but we don't have anyone we're willing to play or risk in that position. We never get anything against this lot so I'm not expecting anything. Managing expections is a life skill. UTFT always.

Exactly my team but it sort of picks itself

…..the Iroegbunam option lasted 45 mins, how sad, how brutal to be that exposed. He even had his own ‘opportunity’ thread ffs

Alcaraz/KDH will be better but I can’t see anything but us being totally exposed with that axis. Moyes might have to be innovative, maybe 3 at the back which invariably means 5 at the back as far as we’re concerned. Can’t think of a defender in the squad too be mobile enough to play the Gueye role.

Crazy to be so depleted when one old bloke becomes unavailable.
As soon as I read 'Moyes' and 'innovative' in the same sentence I realised that either Eggs is on the lunchtime Rum or I've become illiterate.

Game plan will be the same. Get the ball out wide to Ndiaye or Grealish, mostly Grealish. He will then slow the game right down and keep hold of the ball for way to long until he passes it backwards. Rinse and repeat all night.
