I'd argue you were only in control of the game in the space between the middle of the first half until half time. We're not exactly at full fitness either mate.

I don't doubt that mate

I can't remember your lot causing our back line any problems until we began to tire though, I think that's very poor given the talent your lot had out, You seemed void of ideas

Quality showed towards the end and once the first went in I knew you would get a second

70th? Like I've said in various other posts in this thread we were not that bad nor were you guys that good you simply capitalized on our left side falling asleep and a poor decision by the linesman for your 2 goals, did you do anything else besides score those 2 goals?

I'd argue that we asserted ourselves on the game immediately after half time with the first half being a bit of an end to end affair, we lacked the final ball when we got into the final third.

Bobby, these are fair enough comments looking at the game from a Gooner point of view.

We can also complain justifiably about 2 if not three penalty shouts, and definitely there were some very dirty tackles from your lot that could have seen you down to 10 or even 9 men if the ref had been strict.

Overall, we paid the price for playing way too deep for the last 20 minutes ...arguably for most of the 2nd half.

Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season and feel free to look in here now and again - it is one of the better Fans' Boards around.

Just don't get into a row with Yid4Life !! :p

So, to summarise today:

Well the fact it could've been 3.0 by half time (Mirallas 1 on 1) and yous didn't have 1 shot on target till about the 60th, means we did enough to a point.

Yous were slow and surprisingly had no creative spark - Chamberlain, Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshire, all did nothing. When you weren't misplacing passes, you passed it across the defence. Slightly higher possession and only causing Howard to make his first save mid way through the 2nd half says a lot.

It only improved with Giroud coming on as he was a target man for crosses and balls over the defence. And also Carzola, who really is the only reliable creative play you have.

If that ended 2.0, you'd see how poor you were. Getting a point covers a lot up and does more favours to you than us. And if you play like that against Chelsea etc, they won't be as careless as we were.

That is just stupid, you could literally chalk up any goal to errors (by looking at Isolated incidents) or poor officiating.

Everton scored today because of an Arsenal error and poor officiating, there.

You didnt look like scoring until we started making mistakes. Where is the Arsenal mistake for Colemans goal mate, it was simply great play from Everton.

It hasn't. If you believe Naismith stuck diligently to some 'chalk on the boots' game under Moyes you're the one who cant remember.

He's doing ok, 'the comeback kid'. But there's some selective memory processing going on here.

It's like people forget the 5 yard pass he ballsed up to Jelavic a year ago, never seen anything like it.

Saying that, he is improving, and he has been very handy the first two games this year.

You;re spot on. There's no answer to that summary. We weren't nearly as good as some of us suggested first half...in fact I thought we were way too content to fanny about with the ball in our own half hoping to send Arsenal to sleep.

You lot created more all told, without looking like you wanted to get out of 2nd gear with the CL game to come.

All I'll say it's I'm not calling Toure or Kompany soft where they can hear.

I'm not too sure it's even the players. Mourinho just likes a bit strong powerful compact team with speedy wingers that work hard and I think he's got the perfect Mourinho team with his signings.

Maybe it comes down to the manager. In a way I just know what to expect from Chelsea this season and with City I'm not sure.

Thought we were decent for large spells and carried a threat. When Kev n Rom were goosed we naturally looked worse.

Felt Coleman didnt get enough protection considering he hasnt had a pre season.

Annoyed at dropping points and just adds to the pressure for next week.
