We didn't do to much overall. Referee was terrible. Your second goal should never have been a goal, Lukaku fouled Mertesacker and Naismith was very clearly offside.

We let you back into it. Had it won but stopped playing after 75 mins

Wilshire is the most unlikeable player in the league for me, horrible little beaut who I genuinely hope gets done by someone this season.

Ok mate, you are one of the cool kids who think pre season performance dont matter, well to me at the time they did and now is showing why 4 or 5 players looked gooesed then whilst a team that played away in turkey 72 hours ago on a terrible pitch were first to every ball, carry on being a superfan bel ill carry on being a realist and calling it how i see it

I have to go back to that first half. I said at HT it wasn't that impressive and got slaughtered. We never got any passing going in their half and we got a little break with that offside goal.

The second half wasn't so much a collapse in that context.

Why are we disappearing in the 2nd half?, I use to think Jags and Distin were rock solid, they have started this season in shocking form, don't recognise them from last season.

Proper took the shine of my weekend this, Chelski are going to rape us if we play like this against them.

Yeah there is and it needs to happen. Any other outcome is not good enough from our first 3 games. The draws cost us last year.

I actually thought Osman done OK. Fit in well and played some nice passes in the first half. Can't be solely balmed, none of the players bar maybe McCarthy, Naismith and Barry done particularly well in the second half.

We've led in both games and blown it. Tactics , we kept running and attacking last season when winning. Sat back more in those two games!

All 4 goals we have conceded this season have been as a result of defensive (particularly central) carelessness.

yep and we looked terrible in pre-season as well.

not knee-jerking here, but it may be time for distin to be a more rotation option rather than guaranteed starter.

it's becoming more obvious how poor they are as a pair, never thought i'd see the day that arsenal's only weapon against us was lumping crosses into the box. they tried all their nice passing triangles around the edge of the box, but never created anything.

it's such a shame we didn't win that because they were kicking us all over the shop through sheer frustration, i think i've massively overated them tbh

Again we waited for them to take the initiative and bring on fresh legs first. Need to stop waiting until we're already in trouble before making changes.

I agree. Both games have seen us struggling and then he waits 10-15mins before changing it. This was a great strength of RM last season. He was able to change decisively and with great effect but the last 2 games he has been found dillydallying (if that's a word)
