Chelsea’s showing that you need a focal point in this League to succeed. They struggle when they play Hazard as a false 9 and relies on moment of brilliance from one of their attackers. Tempo and intensity in England is far too high to make it a proper succesfull strategy.

Add to that our lack of movement in midfield and our slow build up play. Keane would be our main playmaker in this case and I bet everyone agrees that’s it’s hardly perfect scenario.

Fair enough, I was hoping we would see more movement from players and additionally see more creativity given deeper runs into the box. I feel we need to mix something up as we have become predictable playing through Gomes and Gylfi so often. The other factor is Dignes crosses, as good as they are there a real lack actual chance creation.
