To be honest this lad smacks of average for me. We need much better imo

Maybe. I think his goal tally looks impressive for a wide player. First 8 goals for a mid-table Nimes before he got 10 in 26 matches for a St. Etienne that was fighting to avoid relegation all season. Better numbers than what Sarr had in France and available for €15M(?).
