Havent seen so much as a whisper linking us to him, with all the players signed we had a few days of some actual linking, I mean Everton is prone to slamming 1 in from left field, but I would be very surprised.

I get what you're saying but surely if it happened then with no money it has a better chance happening this window with money

Possibly but only a few clubs have players we would want that would sell to us because they are looking to get rid that late. Utd, City and Chelsea. Even they may see us as too much a threat after Leicester last year.

More likely those players will go abroad. Barry was a weird one because he was English. Rom was just young and needed mins.

It might happen but I hope it's not our plan A.

cheers mate. interesting. I wonder if this kid might be a better bet than the Brahimi fella. Looks like we are deffo after someone who can unlock a defence and is comfortable all across the pitch. I'm basing that assumption on 40 seconds worth of YT vids and everyone rambling on about this player for 2 years.

His stats are fantastic but he was in a poor team designed around him as their only attacking threat. I think he was involved in something crazy like over 50% of their goals.

all this talk about signings and what we need is all sound, I love it me but what's important is just picking up results. that's what makes us all happy. We've had a decent 7 days as in 2 league wins and a cup win and another week closer to getting the balance and fitness Koeman wants.

I want signings, I know great signings will significantly increase our chances of winning but right now all I'm arsed about is that we won today and got another 3 points on the board.

I personally think we have done our business from within this country, I think the teams we will buy from now will be abroad. They can't live with the money on offer from this country so with a few days left they will start accepting bids.

One thing I will say. All of our signings, excepting Bolasie who I think was bought to stretch teams away from home anyway, have looked like massive successes in the first 3 games. If you include Holgate who he has promoted, the lads he has brought in have been our best players ( not inc barry who is a freak of nature).

of course mate, still holes to be filled. My main concern was how utterly crap we were at the back and in goal. I'm happy to sort that stuff out and give us a fighting chance to at least win a game or hold onto a lead.
