you'd probably be talking at least 10 mil though, butland will prob be closer to 20 mil and those clubs are unlikely to sell

We spunked 27 mill on the best striker to fix the goal scoring now spunk the funds on a new goal keeper to fix the goal saving.

I remember seeing Sharp saying with Southall in goal they knew they would win if they scored 2 or more because there was no way Southall would let more than 1 in.

If we had a keeper like that we'd be in the top 4 now instead of falling down the league again.

Think it was Gray who said that on the 84-85 video. But the point is just as valid.

Not for me. Theres no one out there unless it'll be stupid money, and it certainly won't be someone established in a first team.

They wouldn't replace Howard halfway through a season either as Martinez doesn't think he's a problem. If he did, hed put Robles in.

As long as Howard isn't injured he's not getting replaced in Jan. He'll barely get dropped.

I can't see Yarmolenko signing for us in January, Kiev are still in the champions league and he will be a key player for them in their games against Man City at the end of February.

We're linked with a 32 year old random Italian keeper (Federico Marchetti, Lazio) in the Gazzetta dello Sport today. Sadly also linked seem to be Juventus and Inter, so even if we are in for him - it won't be easy.

Also I know it's not a very reliable source, but hey ho, rumours are rumours.

Why do you not sign Dnipro's keeper Denys Boyko? Last season Dnipro got to Europa League's final mostly to his great games he practically denied Higuian and got many saves. Now Dnipro is falling apart, their best players are leaving or already left. Konoplyanka to Sevilla, Kalinic to Fiorentina. And they are keeping their great form. Boyko and Douglas also want to leave in January transfer window, for him it's better to be Everton - to play against better strikers. And now he is the most talented Ukrainian keeper.
