Ok, hypothetically lets say of those 9/10 players that two go out in Jan...and one comes in. Lets say its Naismith and McGeady out....i cant see mirallas staying past jan myself....

Then in summer do you think realistically 7/8 players will leave?

With the exception of Robles perhaps that would be 8 players who are unwanted or available for transfer all leaving at the same time...

I cant see so many players leaving at once....i also cant see Martinez bringing in alot of players at the same time as he's never done that before.

He would need to shift several now and the rest in summer.

Four players will not leave this month. We may see Naismith and McGeady being shown the door, and one squad player may come in. That'll be it. Big movement will be in the summer.

Other than no one wanting to sign our players and/or desired players being unavailable till summer i cant think of any reason why we wouldnt be active...

We simply won't be that active this window. For a large variety of reasons.

Robles still has 2 years left, so not sure why hes on this list, also Mirallas has only just signed a contract, as for the rest, bar Howard and only cos he currently plays, none of them will be missed, I reckon the wages alone add up to 250k+ a week.

Well there are very strong rumours that Ossie is off to Hibs, Naismith is also being linked away with lower prem clubs. I don't think the prospect of losing those two players is remotely far fetched, and as it would leave us two players down, you would expect there to be at least some kind of replacement coming in whether it be on loan or permanent. Then you have Mirallas and McGeady, both of which will be heavily linked with moves away during the transfer window.

Mirallas may have signed but martinez has said hes available...so on the list.

Theres 9/10 players there and i dont think ALL will go in summer...i think there has to be a few off in jan.

Then we need to strengthen based on what i wrote and also not forgetting Martinez says we will always come out of a window stronger.

Mirallas gibson and mcgeady are all available to leave to play so they can make their national squads in euros...

Robles will stay. Can also see Ovideo been offered a new deal - maybe even Gibson.

Having a squad turn-around in the middle of the season is not what we need now. We're not going to sign anyone big, in Jan anyway, so just don't expect anything major. If Naismith and McGeady leave we could do with another player in, ideally for that LW position - but I cannot see us signing Yarmolenko etc.

I'd be sad to see Mirallas go. Hopefully he and Martinez can make amends because he would make solid contributions as a sub or starter. He's just got goals in his game bruh
