If these guys go then of course Martinez will get in cover for Lukaku. I'd guess its going to be Dembele at Fulham based on what i was told and all the rumours...but maybe someone else...

Think he will also strengthen LW myself...hes basically told everyone these 4 players can go + we will come out stronger....i think with the premature whinging of some fans he will feel some pressure to show he's continuing the rebuilding as well.

I don't see it mate

Maybe a few kids for the youth team, but I don't see us making any major signings at all

I don't think we'll sell Naismith either to be honest. Injury to Lukaku or Kone and we'll need cover

We might send Geades in loan though

We are sitting on around 15m in players + wages we should easily be able to offload in the first week of January.

Naismith we know for sure can go for 7m or so. Factoring in 30k a week wages that saves us another half a million on top of that.

McGeady would fetch 2m minimum, despite being absolutely useless. Must be on similar wages so minimum of 2.5m saved there, and Gibson I'd throw in the same boat as McGeady, so another 2.5m.

Martinez needs to decide whether or not he wants to start using Besic, because if not it's time to say goodbye to him too, same with Oviedo. They for me are worth around the 5m mark. I'd say we could get rid of Naismith, McGeady, Gibson and one of Oviedo or Besic, bring in two quality players for the money, and become a much stronger squad for it.

Their places on the bench (and let's not forget they are only used in emergency situations anyway) would be taken by the returning Hibbert, Pienaar plus a few youngsters, so it's not like we'd be struggling for numbers.

Do it, Roberto, do it.

Left midfield has to be a priority. Someone like Pienaar or Silva would be perfect.

Left midfield i guess could be the Yarmolenko position or at least the 3 guys across the attacking midfield slots could interchange.

I think weve been linked alot with Inaki Williams there. Someone like a Tielemans, Bernardo Silva or even a Ruben Neves who are usually central could be played on the left side but maybe later shifted into the centre.

Theres a lot of options. In centre mid though we have no one...Barkley in attacking midfield and McCarthy defensive midfield but zero centre mids of quality...

Hi mate, i dont think he's "better" than Ozil....yet.

Ozil is the typical "type" of playmaker who is fantastic with the ball but without it he's a luxury player. For Arsenal he fits them perfectly when they have players behind him focused on winning the ball and giving it to him.

Calhanoglu has different "qualities". Not only is he a better dead ball specialist than Ozil (probably the best in the world already at 21 years old) and we really need someone to take our free kicks and corners as were useless at them....but he's also not shy to harry the opposition and perform defensive duties. He seems to be a "winner" and a team player here and so if alongside Barkley and McCarthy i think they would do very well attacking but also not concede ground defensively.

I think we need someone like him OR a Bernardo Silva type there so the opposition cant commit many players forward knowing one pass can unleash Deulofeu Barkley or Lukaku and one foul can give us a goal via a free kick from these guys....alternative is a Neves type all rounder or a Carvalho type box to box powerhouse...

Interesting to see which he goes for in terms of style. Yarmolenko for example has the size as well as the power so it could be he now brings one or two players like that to add some steel.

Btw when posting if you click "post reply" we can get a notification who youre replying to as now if you just write a post its not linked to anyone...

Imagine:

MCCARTHY
BARKLEY CALANOGHLU

DEL LUKAKU YARMOLENKO

Why the clamour to offload Besic? He's clearly Gaz Baz's replacement next season.....and rightly so. Barry has been great value for Everton and arguably our most consistent midfielder this term, but at 36 I can't see him as a regular starter in 2016/17 season.

People just see dollar bills, they dont see quality players.

Imagine wanting rid of Besic when we have so many terrible players we could off load instead.

YES FORMATIONS

Neuer
Coleman - Stones - Silva - Baines
Besic
Pogba - Barkley
Geri -------------- Messi
Lukaku

I think if you drop Messi and use a time machine to go and get Ryan Giggs when he burst onto the scene in 1991 that would be a half decent team.

Stick Messi on the bench though as he can be Osmans replacement with him currently riding a donkey to Bethlehem aka Hibs
