smoke and mirrors mate .... we will not bring anyone in due to pending takeover .. takeover evaporates. It will be a successful transfser window if we keep hold of Stones and / or Rom.

On the flip side:

A-- Naismith goes £7-8mil
B-- McGeady goes for £500k
C-- Mirallas goes for £10mil

There we have £17.5mil. Additionally whatever was left from the summer (could be Yarmolenko money less Lennon)

Additonally we have perhaps £50mil extra at the end of the season and 5+ squad players leaving so lots of room for salaries.

I think it would be folly to think we wont sign anyone when just one or two positions up the league could also be a difference of £6mil.

Think we will spend or loan to buy £15mil+ worth of players myself.

• We wont sign a new keeper in January. Stop dreaming!
• Naismith will definitely go - £7-8m is decent money for a 29 year old. Top fella, but if we have ambitions of Top 4, Naisy will never be good enough.
• We will try of offload McGeady. Sunderland will come in with a loan offer on deadline day. McGeady will refuse to go.
• Mirallas will stay.

Alright guys hibs fan here from Scotland as you's all know stubbsy is our manager and is doing a cracking job he came out the other day there and wound Rangers and the press up by saying he is going to pull a rabbit out the hat signing in January this has got a couple of hibs fans meant to be in the know saying it could be Leon osman or Tim Cahill just thought ide come on and ask what the possibility of osman or Cahill signing baring in mind we have no where near the money Everton does cheers guys

Imagine if it was Ossie lollollol

He's not getting in our team and he's out of contract in the summer so it's not a completely ridiculous prospect given that he already knows Stubbs.

Doubt it's Cahill, he's making mega-bucks in China, if he came back to the UK it's more likely to be after he retires to become a coach with us IMO.

Sadly I reckon it's unlikely mate. As much as about 92% of us can't stand Osman these days he probably is still a little too good and is occasionally still used by us.

Haha we all know about Mcgeady mate still probably a little to good for us my English team is Middlesbrough and went to the riverside a few weeks back in the cup great atmosphere that night since I've seen your players live we be appreciated if you could lend us Barkley what a player watched him for most of that match guy is different class!

Osman would be a good player for you, some of the kids in the under 21 could be decent up there ledson ,kenny ect well worth looking at

Had a look on their forum, the rumour seems to be that he would go there as a player coach and maybe get his feet under the table with Stubbs for when he gets a move to manage a bigger club.
