For me this season is a complete up in the air one, so many managerial changes, so many teams making large amounts of changes to their squads, anything could happen

Except we have signed a back up keeper and haven't made any other signings. And yet we creep closer to the point where we get the TV money......just like every other year.

Considering all the rules and the fact that we have been paying players for the last 2 months, paying compo for Koeman and Walsh and also the fact that we didnt take out a bridging loan, as far as I know, for the first time in God knows how long, maybe the kitty is a little bit bare!

Its not like The Mosh can just write somebody a cheque for a player yano!

With Walsh in, I don't think there can be any logical reasons or excuses not to have strengthened the squad by the end of this coming week at the latest.

july 31 is my deadline...nowt significant by aug 1 then it's genuinely a poor show: anyone after that's barely got time to prepare, cue slow start to the season and half of davek's arguments will have been vindicated.
