honestly i think the euros and world cup are a terrible place to judge players, most of them are absolutely ruined by the time it comes around having already played 40-60 matches in many cases.

I'd have him for more. Probably not a popular opinion but I think he is a very good player and is most certainly a step up on squad players like Osman and Pienaar.

bit of an odd player is nani i think. People called him terrible because he basically wasn't ronaldo but has had plenty of good ratings over his career.

Strikes me the same way lennon did to be fair, player who runs fast in the right direction. No complaints for a small fee if we got that to the team.

Just because we have money doesn't mean we should throw it at mercenary players regardless of their name or reputation. We don't need players who are on the wind down and don't have that hunger anymore. I'm pretty confident RK will see right through this and make some quality additions to the squad (Youth team included).
