My girlfriend got me tickets for tomorrow off a website called sportsboxoffice.com for a vastly inflated price.
Now I've got the tickets today and they have somebody elses name on them. Is this normal?
I phones them and they said it's normal as they are brokers but I didn't really know what that meant. Can anyone clue me in?
 

I've never ordered off websites like that.

Always go to the club direct if you can or join a supporters club.

The supporters club i'm with are Ace. They are really organised and seem to get tickets for....well...everything.

What do your tickets look like?? are they similar to this??

I can't understand why you didn't get them off the club ?

it's not actually a sellout and tickets can still be purchased, you just get a customer number for each of you, the tickets have your name on and you never know what it can get you in the future ? When we beat the r/s in the cup replay, after season tickets you only had to have purchased 1 ticket to be entitled to try and get a ticket.

Bet they say £29 each on as well. oh yeah, if you get an everton m/card then you dont pay a booking fee either. At least now you can push the "but look how cheap it s compared to the stoke game" to get more visits.
 

cant understand why you dont just sign up to the e-ticketing service on the OS? You can get tickets for almost any home game on it mate, granted some are piss poor seats for the bigger games but much better than goin through them damn scamming broker sites!

Tickets look a bit like that yeah.

Well I didn't get the tickets you see. They are a present from the girlfriend who hasn't got a bloody clue. I phoned the company and they sound legit. Like people sell them tickets then they are sold on at a higher price.

Guess I've not signed upb to anything official as I live so far away I don't get up very often, and if I buy tickets i get them from the club anyway.

I reckon if I take all the paperwork they sent and ID then i should be ok.
 
Make sure that your ID matches the name on the ticket mate, otherwise they will refuse entry.

They will also bleat on about possibly pressing charges but that's just bullshit mate. It's done at random so don't worry, you'll be alreet.

Out names don't match the tickets at all mate. In fact not even close. But the accompanying paperwork does match.

Fingers crossed.

Just say you haven't got ID mate, and learn the name of what is on the ticket. They should be alright.

If there are any police by the turnstyle then choose another one mate and you'll be sound.

Lies! I can order extras for mates and in 16yrs as a sth I've never known anyone ID'd
