Just speculating, but this seems to be a secured overdraft facility secured on a (unknown) contract or revenue source that falls outside Barclays "catch all" security.

So perhaps we're about to announce a new sponsorship deal or commercial partnership and this is an advance on that.

Player sales or remaining asset sales will automatically be swept up under the Barclays mortgage.

Speculation time:
i) Could be the documentation of the free capital required to actually get the summer signings moving. We do not know how much we actually paid up front for Billy, Johnny and Sylly. At the same time, we do not know how the Lescott fee has been structured and what percentage of the fee is 'add on' related.
ii) Could be some working cash to get a couple of players in when January gets here. You know, so we don't have to wait to the last week of the window.
iii) Could be Kenwrights pay including the payoffs to Ziggy Stardust and the spiders from mars who are the real decision makers at Goodison.
