Pereria would be a sensible signing who has played in the Premier League.

He would add goal threat to our team plus the financial risk is low.

We would be mad not to be in for him.
Sadly we do not do sensible...can see this guy going to villa and his value to increase massively next season and at the same time us stuck with a big in name only signing that does not deliver value for money.

Jesus Christ, the 0-0 every game you mean.

Not a single player there can pick a pass.

Liverpool won the Champions League and Premier League with a yard dog midfield.

The days of the James no 10's are long gone imo, fill your front 3 with pace and goals and a midfield 3 of tackling pressing machines who keep the ball moving in one direction and you'll win many more than you lose.

And Man City will do the same this season with quality players in midfield.

The fella Bissouma is decent, but he offers us nothing we need, we need somebody who knows how to use a football, not somebody who runs and tackles.

Asking price of £40m and linked to Champions League clubs plus he'll be off in January with African Nations.
Oh missing for African Nations...swerve then. Best sticking with what we have that miss half the season injured lol

You forgot the wing backs getting 10+ assists and 3 forwards scoring over 15 goals each.

They won a lot of games through their energy* and forcing teams to play quicker which lead to errors.

Everton with Allan and Doucoure would close fast but they still need that extra man in midfield who can tackle and has pace plus don't forget pace either side and upfront.

Add a quick right back, tackling midfielder and an out and out right winger - instantly become a better team over night

*Subject to Inhalers

I dont disagree. I remember we had players at Everton in 82/83 and thought getting rid of them was the way forward, but bringing in a few more players they later clicked and became champions. Nevertheless, this team could be sold en masse and I'd shrug my shoulders.
I like how you don't change your mind even when you're arguing with yourself ;)

I was thinking before had Richarlison scored 12-15 in the league as he normally does and had we replaced Iwobi with a 8-10 goal right sided forward and Coleman with a RB who could rack up a number of assists and the odd goal we would probably be top 4 never mind 6.

I dont think creativity is what this team lacks its largely pace, energy and grit.

I hope we go back to 433 next season as thats when we looked very good.
