Are you actually implying that Solskjær is a better manager than Carlo freaking Ancelotti? You have some decent, if unpopular shouts at times, but this is just way off the mark. Give Carlo a squad worth the same amount uniteds is and he would smash Ole in every game they faced off. Acelotti is an all time great, Ole isnt even great.
I'm not disputing that Carlo isn't an all time great, but so was Arsene Wenger and his time came. For me Carlo hasn't done an exceptional job with a squad since at best the 13/14 Madrid season. And this year while I appreciate the results I don't think we've actually been that good, and certainly think for him to accomplish what we want him to here he will need to make big improvements.

So because performance wise we've not been good and because the length of time from Carlo's major accomplishments to now is getting bigger I don't think he's viewed as a manager at the very top anymore.

I am glad to have him here, I really really am, but it doesn't mean he gets a free pass.

Yeah?

Care to name them?
How can I name Teams. It’s what’s available at the time. And him also being available. That’s how a lot of football management works.

It’s different poaching a young manager from a different country or a lower lever club. Not many managers get poached from big clubs.

The fact Barca are managed by a useless clown and Utd are managed by OGS, tells me ancelotti could definitely still get a top job. If it was the right place at the right time

Honestly I don't know. I think Tuchel would be good for us because he'd bring a coherent plan and continuity but I really am not sold that his tactics are actually any good. Sort of a rich man's Martinez. Ole has taken Carlo's lunch both matches this season. He's made a lot of progress at United although obviously working with higher quality players.

I'm going to bounce over to the Carlo thread now.
Easy to have a plan when you have an 800mil fully fit squad to pick from.

Who do you think is the better manager? Solskjær or Mourinho? I think most people would say Jose - yet we beat him. Why is that? Id say tactics as the squads are more compearble than ours and uniteds. Sadly, in the long run, giant heaps of money can do more for a team than just tactics. Manure bought their way out of a clinch, before Ole could spend tons of cash they were falling down the table. If Carlo could spend 60m on a right winger, 40m on a midfielder etc, do you still think OGS would win? In a ‘fair fight’ Carlo would stomp him.

Is that the same United that hired Moyes and OGS?

Do you mean THAT United?

Its like you want to corner the market on crap shouts.
Not just UTD. None of the clubs know what they are doing, it’s all hit and miss, mostly miss. Look at the series of managers at each club, there’s no real pattern to it. They just keep reacting to crisis until they stumble on something that works.

Today I think that is a hard question. Mourinho is another I feel is going the wrong way. We beat Spurs in the cup because we had our best finishing day of the season. I'm grateful for it.
