I keep hearing it not the lack of funds but the fact we aren't allowed to spend this year, hence trying to put deals on to next year.

Our hands are tied by not having any money. The club are trying to convince other clubs that we'll have money to spend in the future so to sign a £30m player they might offer £5m now and the rest in installments. Other clubs want money now though.

So the lack of funds and having our hands tied is the same thing.

I'm sorry but this would be stupid when we haven't sorted out other positions. We have a limited number of loans available and Mykolenko is looking like one of our more solid players. Maybe not the best in attack but his crossing has looked better the more he plays, and he's obviously gotten a couple of goals for us already.

Now that we have no money and our squad is dreadful, it would be very Everton to make a signing in one of the few positions we have some sort of cover.

It would be a loan with option. So almost nothing to eat into the budget for other positions.
