Yeah I just look at recent players like Elanga, Ouatarra and Sulemana and how they chose the likes of Forest, Bournemouth and Southampton over us. Granted none of them are setting the world alight, but it probably shows a real lack of pull from us at the moment.

As you say, Palace can offer him a proven track record of development with a pathway to an "elite" club. They also play nice football and have buzz around them with players like Eze thriving and Wharton looking great and Guehi starting for England.

The choice is basically prove yourself for 18 months at Palace and then move to Chelsea or come to Everton on the promise that we're a sleeping giant. I don't know if our size or ceiling is necessarily appealing to young hungry players at the moment.

Really hope I'm wrong.
Think all them we just didnt have the money to get them done, maybe iroegbunam can tell him about the club how thelwell sold it to him. Would be showing the new stadium and the plans here will be hard. But is a big opportunity here

Think its about having a squad and having choices from the bench and covering injuries

Our squad is wafer thin
We have 3 wingers at a push mcneil, harrison is a loan and well the other is young. Agree with you that is the point was a position the club was short in last season and we had more cover then.

Think Dacoure's best performances for us last season was when he was playing as an 8, don't you think?

As soon as he went out the team, we played like Fulchester United without Billy the Fish, can't understand the negativity towards him, given it will be his last year with us, this coming season.
He is technically quite poor (but does have a cracking shot on him) but since he joined us has been vital to how we play. No manager since he signed has managed without him, including Carlo.

The stats are scary about how we do without him.

Played something like 35 games without him and only won 3 of them.
